Led by specialist physiotherapist Rowan, Run Strong blends expert coaching with evidence-based training to help you move better, run faster, and stay injury-free.

What You Can Expect from Run Strong

Run Strong runs for six weeks at the YMCA gym, with small group sessions designed to provide personalised coaching and support.

Each participant receives:


✔ Pre-course physiotherapy assessment

A detailed evaluation of strength, mobility, and running-specific movement patterns.


✔ Post-course physiotherapy assessment

So you can clearly see your improvement and progress.

Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to:


  • Build strength in key running muscles

  • Improve balance, control, and mobility

  • Reduce your risk of common running injuries

  • Boost confidence in your running technique and performance
